AI is moving faster than most operators realize.
Six months ago, we were using ChatGPT to rewrite emails. Today, we have AI agents building estimates, reviewing drawings, helping support teams answer technical questions, and speeding up workflows that used to take days.
On a recent episode of the Entry & Exit podcast, we broke down how we are using AI inside Alarm Masters today, where most businesses should start, and why we believe AI is a business enhancement tool, not a people replacement tool.

We started with basic AI use cases like rewriting emails and answering technical questions before building anything advanced.
Our first real AI tool was a custom sales support agent trained on spec sheets, manuals, and internal company knowledge.
We believe AI should improve employee efficiency and customer experience, not replace great people (here’s a real-life example of this).
Most operators can get started today by building simple AI support assistants inside tools like Claude Projects or custom GPTs.
We are now using advanced AI agents inside Alarm Masters for estimating, quoting, accounting insights, customer support, and after-hours call routing.
The biggest mistake is trying to automate everything at once. Start with one bottleneck, solve it, and build from there.
The operators who learn how to work alongside AI today are going to have a massive advantage over the ones who wait for the technology to feel “safe” or fully figured out.
